Achieve the Perfect Look for Your Face
Facial Asymmetry Correction means that the jawbone is curved to either side of the face in a way that breaks the symmetry of the face. And it is more common than most people think. Although not specifically a bad thing for your body, some people feel better off correcting facial asymmetry or if it causes breathing issues or speech impediments, then a surgical interference is recommended for the patient.
This does not mean that this procedure is only for people with extreme facial asymmetry. Facial asymmetry correction is performed to realign the face when the lower jaw is bent or skewed by 2 ~ 3cm or more from the centerline of the face, or the difference in the size of the left and right jaw bones is significant. In other cases, mandibular prognathism or mouth protrusion can occur on top of facial asymmetry.
