Long nose refers to an arrow-shaped nose where the tip is droopy and hides the philtrum (the area between the lips and the nose), resulting from a long or droopy alar cartilage, which makes you look angry most of the time. The nose can be downsized by lifting the nose tip
We recommend rhinoplasty for a Droopy Nose / Long Nose to the following people:
- Those who have a droopy nose with a downward nose tip.
- Those whose long nose disturbs the balance of their face.
- Those who look older than their actual age because of their long nose tip.

The Procedure
Procedure will start with cutting a small amount from the upper side of the alar cartilages and tying it up, then the alar cartilage will be lifted and repositioned to shorten the length of the nose, in some cases, the muscles pulling down the nose tip need to be cut. After this procedure, your nose tip will not sag, even when you smile or pronounce “o” or “u”. After reducing the length of the cartilages, if there is drooping skin, the excess skin will be removed, to prevent lengthening over time. This operation takes around one and a half hours to 2 hours. The patients can return to their normal lives after five to seven days with the removal of the stitches.
