Thread Lift procedure revives your facial elasticity and gets rid of wrinkles quickly
Thread lift procedure uses special threads not only to reduce facial wrinkles but also revive elasticity on your facial skin. In the case of conventional threads of a thread lift only one side of the thread touches the soft tissue, however, all sides of Cherie Group Medical’s special threads touches the soft tissue inside your skin so these will provide a better wrinkle treatment.
Moreso, Cherie Group Medical’s special threads last longer than any other threads. We use bio composite threads that are made with PDO (Poly-dioxanne) materials. These threads are then inserted to the subcutaneous layer of your skin. Cherie Group Medical’s Thread Lift, which stimulates collagen generation to revitalize your skin elasticity, is consisted of PDO Lift and Mint Lift.
What are the advantages of having a thread lift instead of a facelift?
For many patients, the biggest benefit of thread lifting over a facelift is the drastically reduced recovery time associated with thread lifting. When the patient undergoes facelift surgery, he must be heavily sedated; Therefore, the patient must arrange for someone to take him home from the hospital. Most facelift patients also need 24-hour care from a caregiver for at least three days after surgery. Child care assistance may also be needed if the patient still has children at home. Facelifts also typically take one to two weeks to recover from.
On the other hand, recovery from thread lift is relatively easy. Thread lifts can be performed under local anesthesia, rather than general anesthesia, which means that thread lift patients can drive home and take care of themselves immediately after undergoing the procedure. Although some patients suffer from mild pain, redness, and swelling after having a thread lift, and therefore want to take the rest of their day off, most can return to work immediately. Strong pain medication are rarely needed after a lift, which makes it easier for patients to return to a normal life. This process is ideal for those with children at home or busy and demanding people.
Although the recovery of thread lift is not very intense, patients still need to take some minor precautions during healing. It is important not to rub your face vigorously while washing or applying moisturizer for at least a week after having threads placed. You should also try to prop your head up slightly so that you don’t roll over directly onto your face while sleeping.
Thread lifts are low risk due to their non-invasive nature. There is no risk of severe scarring, bruising, bleeding or other complications after thread removal. In rare cases, patients may experience irritation, infection or visible stitches under the skin. However, if this happens, the sutures can be removed and the patient’s face will return to its original state.
Finally, because thread lifts are so much easier to perform than facelift surgery, they are much more affordable.
